Manny Pacquiao has many great gifts to pass on to his children, grandchildren, and their own kids. Manny Pacquiao can start obviously by passing on his tremendous wealth that he has created through his craft.  Manny can give the future Pacquiao family his entire private own businesses, homes, and expensive cars. He can teach his kids the tenacity and relentless will to succeed and how to overcome poverty and adversity.  Of all things, Manny’s greatest gift would be to create a family legacy of boxers, but unfortunately for his fans this will not happen.

For many fans of Manny Pacquiao the ever intriguing idea of a family legacy of boxer in the Pacquiao family is very tantalizing. Manny Pacquiao already has a younger brother Bobby Pacquiao, who is also a professional boxer.  The great boxing champ also has many relatives who aspire to become great boxers just like Manny.  The lineage of great boxers from father to son or daughter however is not a goal of Manny Pacquiao.  Manny has two sons and two   daughters, and all whom he has absolutely no plans to help carry the torch to become a boxing great like him.

At his home, Manny does not have any boxing equipments whatsoever because of one of Manny’s greatest fear.  Manny is extremely concern that one of his kids will one day follow his footstep and become a professional boxer.  For all the glory and treasures that Manny has receive from boxing, one of his biggest fear is that his own passion for boxing will one day consume one of his children.

Manny believes that the hard road he took to succeed in life is one that is brutal and harsh.  He doesn’t mind showing his kids the bruises and scars he has obtained through boxing. He is not trying to instill fear in his kids, but is trying to stray them from walking the path he has taken.  He knows that becoming a boxer was actually a product of the life that he was born and raised into.  He would rather his kids excel in computers, business, and playing basketball than to beat another man for blood and glory.

Pac Man grew up in a tough life of poverty and literally had to fight for everything he got today.  We can all sympathize with Manny’s decision not to put his kids through the tough life of a boxer.  Many fans of Pacquiao of course can also fantasize what it would be like if his sons Jemuel or Michael can become great boxers as well while having a boxing great like their own father in their corner.  Well, dream on guys because first of all his eldest son, Jemuel is only 8 and Pacquiao is not yet finish ending his own boxing legacy.  As for the prospect of a legacy of boxing greats in the Pacquiao family, its all going to start and end with the pound for pound king himself, Manny Pacquiao.
